Dr. Hermann is from a small town just south of St. Louis, MO.  Missouri remained his home through his time as an undergraduate at Truman State University, and then as a veterinary student at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Hermann became interested in emergency medicine while in veterinary school, where he completed multiple emergency externships to further explore this interest.  After graduating from Mizzou with his DVM, he went on to complete a small animal medicine and emergency rotating internship at AVETS in Monroeville, PA.  Dr. Hermann and his wife relocated to Colorado in the summer of 2019, which they have been planning since they started dating in high school.  In his spare time, Dr. Hermann enjoys hiking, bouldering, and playing guitar and drums.  He also loves cooking with his wife and snuggling his two cats, Kat & Bear, and his crazy Bernese Mountain Dog, Delilah.
