Dr. Guenther attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts and graduated in 2005. She came out to Colorado for a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. After her internship she went back to Tufts for a residency in Emergency and Critical Care. After residency she took a position at PVSEC in Pittsburgh PA where she started the Critical Care Department, Blood Bank and a Residency Program for Critical Care.

Dr. Guenther has always loved Colorado and had visited many times for skiing, hiking and camping. She had an opportunity to move to Colorado and joined the team at CVSG and is excited to expand the Critical Care Department!

Dr. Guenther enjoys skiing and Crossfit. She likes to hike, paddleboard, camp and go off road in her Jeep “Sarge” accompanied by her 4 dogs. She is an avid music lover and enjoys the Colorado music scene. She has 3 cats who enjoy their outdoor catio and like watching birds.
