Claire Stuhlmann, DVM
Dr. Claire Stuhlmann received her undergraduate degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation, she spent two years researching marine mammal behavior and conservation at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution on Cape Cod before moving to Breckenridge. After three years in Colorado, she moved to California and attended the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. While in vet school, she ran the Student Veterinary Emergency Response Team and deployed to emergency shelters and with animal search and rescue teams in response to six wildfires including the Camp Fire in 2018 and the North Complex Fire in 2020.
Her professional interests include emergency and critical care medicine, disaster response, and working dog medicine. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, rafting, scuba diving, and adventuring with friends and her dog, Hopper.
